Roller Coaster

Well the last two days have been a bit of a roller coaster ride to say the least. Yesterday morning we headed out to a home for 70 young boys with no parents, and from the moment I walked into the facility a young boy wouldn't let go of my hand for about 2 hours. We then played a game of cricket with the boys, after which I felt completely shattered. I decided to skip lunch, and within the space of about 20 minutes I was throwing up into a gutter. The next five or so hours were absolute torture, and when we left the hotel that evening, more than one person commented on the similarity of the colour of my face to that of my green jumper. I honestly don't really mind the fact that I got sick, but I do wish it came at a slightly more convenient time; because if it, I was unable to really process leaving the madness of Kolkata. What I am sure about, however, is that I loved the place. Equally, I am glad to have had a far more relaxing day in Varanasi to recuperate and get some much needed sleep.

Really looking forward to the next couple of days.

Chris
