Future Engineers?

Although I am extremely guttered to leave Jaipur, an amazing city I felt cheated to be leaving so early, the train instantly provided a glorious Christmas distraction. Being separated from the larger group, a small room consisting of George X2, Jonts, Will, Paddy, Aunty Candy, Chris and I could have easily let being on a train on Christmas Eve get the better of us. But in these dimmest of moments we found strength. We found light. We found unity. We found Christmas.

We put together our heads and created something beautiful. Some say it was the tree of all trees, others say it was a beacon of hope in this world. We, however, saw it as simply our perfect Christmas tree. Structurally sound and aesthetically pleasing to even the most critical eyes, this 'tree' was constructed out of a mix of chocolate and strawberry biscuits, really average wafer stick packets, plastic dangling spoons, a packet of ready salted chips as the present underneath, and of course the dettol bottle as the star of the tree.

This Christmas eve was one to remember and aspire to. Thank you India Railways for making all my dreams come true.

Tim
