Silky suave

Jaipur has been awesome. Raj, our rickshaw driver has been a big part of the fun but there were many other moments that have made Jaipur so enjoyable. Firstly, the 4 hour lockdown when we first arrived was much appreciated and needed after the hectic few days in Delhi. Then that evening going to the Govind Devji temple was yet another weird experience in which George Harman and I continuously walked around the central part of the temple while touching every single lock on every door following the Indian's lead. Yesterday was one of the most active days of the trip so far. A breakfast where ordering an hour after others yet receiving your food before them has become normal here at Atithi Guest House and yesterday was no different. We then proceeded to visit many sights around this amazing city including Amber Fort, Water temple, a gem store, a textile store and my favourite the Monkey Temple. Our unexpected visit to a silk/ textile store was another highlight as Callum, Tubby, Mitch, Jonty, Paddy, Harrison and Tim and I all got tailored, spectacular and very Indian dress shirts. Best purchase of my life. Looking toward to a Christmas that has crept up on us very quickly.

George (the cool one)
