After a few relaxing days in the desert area of Jaipur, Mumbai is somewhat of a reminder of where we are. The contrast between the rich and poor was common throughout the city.
Yesterday afternoon, as we walked through the slums, all we had to do was lift our heads and we could see the "fancy" skyscrapers looming above us. Yet for the kids to be so happy with this (somehow they were able to keep their heads held high) was truly humbling.
Something I will never forget.
