Mr Skeen had set us a target of getting back to New Delhi Train Station in our rickshaw groups. Reuben and I set off at a high speed, dodging multiple cars whilst trying to find a rickshaw. We saw the other groups fail to get picked up but we hit the jackpot. Our driver hit the gas and we were sailing at a solid 10 km/h past Mr Jordan. Then we stopped. We were out of gas. The driver got out and pushed us to the side. He walked us to where a man was on a bike with a carriage attached. Reuben and I looked at each other thinking how rats it would be for this skinny Indian man to bike us to our destination, especially as Reuben weighs a ton.
But it was a race.
So we got in.
And we ended up getting there in last place.
