George Helsby- Family Update

Hi George (Helsby)

Hope you are feeling much, much better than you were yesterday - Oliver has much sympathy for you (I know, it's hard to believe) as he says he was VERY lucky and managed to get sick at the end of the trip in Goa where the surroundings were very pleasant and even more importantly, the toilets were "normal".  Reading all the blogs (you don't seem to have managed more than one???) brings back all the memories for us of when Oliver was on the tour 4 years ago and we remember how much of a LIFELINE the blog became for us. How reassuring it is for us to hear from Ben S each day (we know we can depend on his daily summaries) and it does make a huge difference to us to know you are in such capable, "tried and tested" hands.

We are going on with life in NZ in the pre-Christmas build up - the weather has finally decided to turn into summer and it is mid 20's now - while you are all experiencing life in India and all that is being thrown at you. Your friends are all following the blog now so we hope that they might send you some blogs.

The Grammar cricket touring team won all their games over the last week in Sydney against Scots, TKS, Newington College and a Central Coast Rep team. You'll be pleased to hear Ben Rainger scored a century and made a great partnership with Will Hay of around 180 (I think against TKS).

Dad and I are going up to Kerikeri tonight to Grandma and Grandpas - they are reading the blog too. I am encouraging your 3 brothers to send you blogs so look out??!

Stay safe and well.
Mum (Fleur)
