With Skeen having a talk with us about our last 24 hours in Kolkata, our time in this amazing city is coming to a close. Although I can say that my initial thoughts of this place echo's Magnus' comment from the 2011 trip of "Why the hell am I here", over the last few days I have come to love this place and the people. That's not to say I won't miss the loud horns or constant assault of smells, but I'll miss the people. Never have I seen a city so full of smiling, laughing and beautiful people; but from our perspective we can't understand why. Will I miss Kolkata? Our Hotel Emirates with all its mice; Blue Sky Cafe and its eccentric owner Sam... Yes. Am I looking forward to Varanasi and whatever the rest of the trip brings? Of course :)
