Happy birthday Christopher. I am sure you will remember for the rest of your life where you were, who you were with and what you were doing on your 18th birthday - which is more than I can say about my 18th birthday! And please don't even think of buying a pair of Ali baba pants for anyone in the family other than your sisters....
To all the boys and teachers, it has been a great pleasure reading all the blogs and living your experiences vicariously. I get the sense that despite experiencing hard things at times, you all feel more alive in many ways than in your ordinary daily lives in New Zealand. It is a great encouragement and reminder that there are many good people in the world who are working away quietly without any fanfare doing there bit to help others in really practical ways and which can make such a huge impact on the lives of others less fortunate. They are the ones who should be getting national honours.
Well - once again happy birthday Christopher - we are all here thinking of you often, and the house is definitely a lot quieter without you here and the computers operating much more efficiently too with a good deal more bandwidth not being used!
Dad/Jon
