The regular 6am walk/run with the mutt up Mt Eden, especially this morning with crystal clear air and absolutely stunning 360 degree views over Auckland becomes even more spectacular, entirely due to the blogs that you lot are providing day in, day out.
I know it’s hard for us back here to get a real appreciation of what you’re witnessing first-hand, however the sights, sounds, smells and people you’re telling us about and then describing so well just reinforces again that we don’t know how lucky we are, so thanks for the reminder!
Mitch, I reckon from what you’ve told us (nicely described by the way!) that you’d be a type 7 on the Bristol Stool Scale however if there was a type 8, you’d probably hit that mark as well, nice. Must say though, it’s good to know that you and the others do get back on track really quickly, so another huge thanks to the senior medical staff and the walking ambulance siren for looking after the sick ones as they hit “rock bottom” (if only), much appreciated.
Keep those blogs coming, can’t wait to hear about Varanasi.
Cheers,
Ian Mc.
