Last night we were all let loose on the streets of Jaipur and along with Mitch, Harrison, George Helsby and myself we found ourselves having a little bit of trouble with a monkey hanging off a power line. As the five of us were walking down a side street we noticed a small monkey sitting on a power line so we approached it very cautiously because, to be honest, we were all pretty scared.
As we walked under the power line the cute little monkey walked towards us and hissed as if it was about to attack us, so we all turned around and ran away like little girls. We eventually mustered up the courage to have another crack at walking past the monkey although the monkey then tried to have another go at us. So by this point many of the locals were very amused by what was happening and one of the local men came up with a genius plan: put us on the back of his scooter and get us past the vicious little monkey. So we all managed to get past safely with some local support for which we are extremely grateful, and I am pleased to say we don't have rabies.
