Hi everyone!!
It's Christmas Eve morning here and our usual Christmas Eve rituals ( including a frenzy at the fruit shop to buy overpriced undersized strawberries ) are going smoothly after many years of practice. Maggie ( the dog) has her reindeer antlers on and Spot (the cat) is wearing his jingle bells collar. Everything for us is as normal as it could be except for having a very special part of our family many miles away having a completely different Christmas Eve and an experience of a lifetime!
As we prepare to open presents tomorrow, I have been thinking that it has really felt like Christmas every morning since the 8th December!
Opening our iPad and opening your blogs every morning has given us the best gift you could ever want and so far that gift has been keeping on giving for 18 days on the trot!!
You 25 hipsters ( as I understand you all now believe you are) are the most inspirational 25 people we have come to know in a very long time!! Having got to know a little bit about you all through your "Vox pops " at every meeting over the last year, we have immense pleasure reading every one of your blogs knowing it has been written by someone who has become very special to us.
Thank you all for including us in your incredible journey and a massive thanks to Ben, Shane and Rachel for being with our boys even though it means you miss your own families and loved ones.
