Interestingly, I read this week an article from World Vision that seemed to connect Xmas time and your experiences in India. A threat was made against a vulnerable child 2000 years ago in Bethlehem. Jesus escaped with his parents to Egypt. However, later King Herod in his rage commanded the murder of every boy 2 years old and under in Bethlehem.
And even today threats- of sickness, poverty, sexual abuse, slavery , injury and death- are made against vulnerable children around the world and especially in the subcontinent. Not all parents are able to provide safety and nurture. You guys are witnessing it first hand.
Joanna and I pray that these experiences over this Xmas will forever keep you searching for ways to help those not so privileged as yourselves.
