Having spent the last 28 hours vomiting into various containers and street gutters, I must say it was a nice change to be doing the gentle back rubbing of sick companions, rather than having it done to me.
One huge positive I have gained out of being sick these last two days has definitely been meeting the two fantastic boys who cared for me while I was at my worst in one of the Future Hope dormitories. These two amazing boys had fascinating and very funny stories to tell, and also explained the more subtle Hindu customs that we often overlook such as the reason Hindu women wear bangles is to show they are married. Looking back on it now I am so grateful to have met them, and am far more well off now than before.
To finish, I feel it is more than appropriate to recite possibly the most useful piece of advice one could receive before travelling to India and it comes from the ever wise Mr Jordan: "When travelling through India, you must never, ever trust a fart"
