Facial Hair

Thought I'd provide a quick update on the progress, or lack of, when it comes to the stuff growing out of our faces.

Tim Burns - appears to have stuck seven individual hairs on his top lip and three underneath his bottom lip. Pitiful.

Jonty Morreau - said this morning that in terms of length his was up there with the best. Too bad the longest hair he has is a singular one protruding out of his cheek. This, combined with a smattering on his chin and some sparse side burns, results in a pretty poor start. Distressing.

Chris Moses - up there with the best so far, no doubt due to the fact that he has begun to sprout some ginger winners on his chin. 

Alex Krofcheck - a gorgeously dense beard that does nothing to diminish his dashing good looks, in fact some may argue it adds to them. Full facial growth. Outstanding.

Angus Grant - the leading sixth former in the race, he began quietly but has now made the look his own. Needs added length to keep up with his seniors but other than that a superb start.

Reuben McGregor-Sumpter - sprouting a ginger beard not seen since the likes of Magnus Whyte walked the streets of Varanasi. Excellent chin and mutton chop growth is somewhat diminished by the Grand Canyon-esque gap separating the two. Has potential. 

William Allen - a "reasonable" attempt at a moustache and neck hair but in terms of the front runners some Mo-scara may need to be on the shopping list to have any chance at the crown. Dismal.

Ben Toogood - a decent attempt for a rookie, no doubt the leading fifth former in the ranks. The Toogood name is by no means disgraced.

The rest of the boys are simply not manly enough to even partake. Take a good look in the mirror at yourself guys, and whilst you're doing it, imagine a face staring back at you with hair on it.
