Everything is Better in Person

After our 7.5 hour delayed train finally arrived and we made our way towards Agra, I began to consider the Taj Mahal and what my expectations of it were. Personally I did not have high expectations and just thought it would be like every other monument I had already seen. It was the polar opposite. There was something about the Taj that I had never experienced before.

This concept of my expectations being wrong continued when we entered the New Zealand High Commission. I did not think it was possible to feel at home again but this was exactly where I felt at the High Commission. It was the perfect stop and has given us a needed break from life in India.

I look foward to what Delhi has in store for us tomorrow and the experiences that await us in Jaipur.

Manksy.
