Curry

India is unlike anything I've ever experienced before. Wherever you go or look, something bizarre, hideous or amazing is happening. It's impossible to describe what is actually occurring without you being here but some of the almost sickening sites are cattle locked up with stacks of rubbish, legless and armless beggars lying on the street, chickens being carried still alive off the back of rickshaws, and a meat market which has put me completely off meat for the trip.
It's been awesome being able to play rugby with the local Jungle Crows and hanging out with the boys from Future Hope where a few of us played cricket, rugby and basketball and we're able to see the biggest smiles on their faces.
Just now, the group of us who haven't been brought down by sickness visited Eden Gardens which is the coolest stadium ever. It was surreal to be in the stadium where we could picture being one of the 95,000 that enter a cricket game.

  1. Glad to know you are still upright. Could picture what you wrote about and must say it sounds as if you are coping pretty well, and having a good time. Eden gardens must have been special. I laughed at your bargaining line. X
